Born and raised in Buffalo, New York, Corey was brought up through various schools in the Buffalo school district. Having experienced many styles of teaching not only from grade to grade but from teacher to teacher; it had always been apparent to him that some teachers had a better understanding as to how to control their classrooms and win the full and undivided attention from their students. Impressed by these masterful teachers Corey had dreams of educating youth. 

Fast forward through life as times, visions, and ambitions change, Corey took up a full time music career under the stage name Genecist and leading a local R&B group called “4 B-LO”. Corey wants to be an example to young artists that they can find success by pursuing their dreams and God given talents. Never letting go of his desire to teach, and eventually he found himself teaching youth Capoeira, a martial arts form. Capoeira instills a sense of discipline and character to children while helping them to explore their curiosity, flexibility, freedom, and self worth.

When introduced to the Time to Teach! with HarryKingSpeaks, it immediately sparked an interest in Corey’s heart because it stressed the same principles that he implemented in his own classes, with a few bonus ideals. Not only did it make sense, but it explained all the things he used naturally in his classes and in his instruction to his 6 younger siblings. HarryKingSpeaks was offering a program that reminded Corey of those masterful teachers that made him fall in love with academics long ago! 

Corey is still working on realizing his dreams and building a foundation that will keep his future family stable and secure. With hopes to someday have children of his own, there’s no doubt in his mind that he’d want his children to be brought up by the brave and very patient teachers who have become efficient in the teachings that Time to Teach! presents. As a full Partner of HarryKingSpeaks, it’d be nothing short of an honor to spread this wonderful seminar to world!
